Myers Lab at WCB!

The Myers Lab had a great time presenting and attending the World Congress Biomechanics (WCB) 2026 Meeting in Vancouver, Canada!

Professor Myers gave a talk on how estrogen regulates stiffness of the murine cervical extracellular matrix. Olivia’s talk focused on an electromechanical digital twin of the uterus in late pregnancy. Camilo presented a poster on a biophysics-informed computational platform of shear wave elastography for assessing cervical remodeling.

Additionally, Camilo and Erin hosted the session “Women’s Health Biomechanics: The Engineering Perspective” and had a great turnout! We are working on compiling a directory of individuals interested in the applications of biomechanics for women’s health – fill out this form if you would like to join it!
